To all our valued customers, 

ShorlandAutoCo has now closed its doors for parts and service but will remain open for car sales till the  30th October or until our used stock is all sold. See our remaining stock here.  Additionally, we will do our best to help out any breakdowns till this date as well or until the distributors appoint a new service agent for the various brands. 

Unfortunately  we have had to close our parts and service a little earlier than we hoped as the majority or our parts and service staff have thankfully found new positions and it made it untenable to keep them operating. 

We suggest that all our passenger car customer head to Birchell and Maunder, 10/12 Marino Road, Ngapuna, Rotorua,  as this is were the majority of our factory trained technicians will be working. 

For Isuzu Truck we are still working of a solution for this, and will update you as soon as we can. 

I would like to thank all our amazing customers for the many years of being able to serve them, there has been some great times and chats shared with many of you over the nearly 35 years and I will miss that.  I would also like to put a special thank you out to my amazing team who though some very tough moments went above and beyond and kept doing their tasks with enthusiasm and a smile right to their last day. 

The decision to close ShorlandAutoCo was a very tough one to make. I personally have been involved in the industry directly for over 32 years, for the most it has been exciting and enjoyable, but I feel it is time to do something else for a while. The automotive industry is going through some of the biggest changes it has ever seen and we as a family decided to let the next generation of automotive leaders put their stamp on it.

So once more I would like to thank all our wonderful customers we have had over the years, the chats, the laughs and also thank all the great staff we have had over the years both present and past (and there have been many) without you all this journey would not have been possible. 

So for now I say Goodbye
